![]() ‘But that can’t be right.’ I thought to myself. “I seem to remember Klavier mentioning that the real crime scene hasn’t been revealed just yet.” She told us. “Fine, even if you didn’t say it, someone else clearly did.” She smirked. “Wait, what do you mean by the crime scene change? The crime scene has always been the gym and it should still be.” I tried to bluff. “Well that is-” I didn't know what to say. “You did say you knew where the real crime took place so hurry up and explain.” She demanded. “Oh and don't forget the most important part.” Maya started, I looked at her confused. 'How am I going to bluff my way out of this one?' I thought, I put my hand to my chin, thinking of a solution. “Don’t you remember? You said you knew what the murder weapon was, and Athena’s alibi.” Maya reminded me. “Well then present the explanation.” Maya said. “In my opinion, as long as these facts remain a mystery we cannot vote.” I said. It's also interesting to see how some of the things we complain about in our world can organically develop in a game. It's a punishing lesson about living in a closed system, and you can watch what we did to Earth happen on a very short timescale, with no politics to confuse things as you get to ruin a planet yourself. I actually feel like kids should play ONI in a science class. beacuse i can see that amazing potential in these games. Instead game controls us.īy the way, i respect all people who loves the series. I really wanted to like this game but couldn't stand with the fact that we can't control the game. But still it really bothers me that we cant point out these meaningless things. Up to a point i can get this beacuse it is satire. Nearly everytime the "case" is build upon to witness testimonies. Almost in every case there is no evidence to point out our client to be criminal. Even if the game is a satire there is no world where witnesses correct their testimonies for 3 times and still count as trustworthy. (Only object the ones where game let us beacuse it leads to another scene) Also not to mention inconsistency of law proceedings. Altough game satires Japanese Law System, plot holes in cases made me really angry beacuse we couldn't object or point any of them out. Characters were interesting, humor was nice and dedective/lawyer mechanics seem to be fine.īut with each new episode i got more frustrated. Altough i'm not a big fan of visual novels, i loved the first chapter. I really wanted to love Phoenix Right: Ace Attorney Trilogy.
